The Application Process
The first step to apply to volunteer with VE Global is to submit the online form in English or Spanish (link below) with additional supporting documents. Only detailed, complete applications with thorough answers will be reviewed. We recommend submitting the online form only after you have prepared and compiled all of the additional supporting documentation. The VE Global program team will then review your application to determine whether you will be invited to an initial interview with our Program Coordinator. Candidates invited to the next stage of the process will interview with the Program Director. All interviews will be conducted online or by phone, unless the candidate is currently located in Santiago de Chile.
A complete VE Global application consists of the following:
- Online Web Application (including contact information for 3 professional references)
- Supporting Attached Documentation, including:
- CV or Resume
- One Letter of Recommendation (signed and scanned)
- Complete and Detailed Responses to our Application Essay Questions.
The entire application process is detailed and can take its time, so we recommend that you apply to volunteer early.
Essay Questions
In order to get to know you better and understand your motivations for volunteering with VE Global, the essay questions are an extremely important part of the application process. Remember that the quality of your responses to these questions weighs heavily in the evaluation of your application.
